Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models, specifically focusing on Generative AI and Large Language Models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define AI product requirements and roadmaps.
- Optimize model inference latency and throughput for production environments using techniques like quantization and model distillation.
- Implement robust MLOps pipelines using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS SageMaker to ensure scalable and reliable model deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in natural language processing (NLP) and implement cutting-edge techniques into our production systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with a strong focus on Deep Learning and NLP.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, with a deep understanding of neural network architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
