Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and infrastructure using Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and MLOps deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize existing models for inference speed and reduce latency in production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in deep learning and implement state-of-the-art architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep experience with at least one major framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
- Proven experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Seldon, or similar) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
