Job Description
We are building the intelligent systems of tomorrow. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Agentic AI Engineer to lead the development of next-generation autonomous agents. In this pivotal role, you will define the architecture for AI systems that operate with human-level reasoning, bridging the gap between generative models and actionable, real-world workflows.
Join a team of world-class researchers and engineers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) applications. You will work on cutting-edge projects that define the technology stack for the year 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable architectures for autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems.
- Optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for context retention, reasoning capabilities, and reduced hallucination rates.
- Integrate complex tool use, function calling, and external API workflows into AI agents.
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of agent performance using synthetic data and human-in-the-loop feedback.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists on best practices in prompt engineering and model fine-tuning.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly features.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Machine Learning and AI.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Experience in designing APIs and microservices for AI model inference.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and fine-tuning methodologies (LoRA, P-Tuning).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate).
