Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Senior 2D Web Developer to lead our interactive graphics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performance, pixel-perfect interactive experiences using the latest 2D web technologies. As a key member of our engineering squad, you will bridge the gap between creative design and technical implementation, ensuring our products deliver seamless visual experiences across all devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex, interactive 2D graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations on all devices, including mobile.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate creative concepts into scalable, clean code.
- Maintain and refactor existing 2D libraries and components for better performance and maintainability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in 2D web technologies and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D graphics.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 Canvas API, and SVG manipulation.
- Familiarity with WebGL and libraries such as Pixi.js, Three.js, or Phaser.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
