Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2D asset pipelines, ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
- Collaborate with concept artists and engineers to create custom shaders, brushes, and visual effects.
- Optimize 2D textures and animations for performance without sacrificing visual fidelity.
- Script automation tools using Python or C# to reduce manual labor in the art department.
- Mentor junior technical artists and conduct technical reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a 2D Technical Artist in game development or digital media.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Experience with 2D engines (Unity or Unreal Engine) and their 2D toolsets.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or C#.
- Deep understanding of color theory, composition, and animation principles.
