Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using WebGL and the HTML5 Canvas API.
- Optimize existing graphics stacks for better frame rates and reduced memory consumption across various devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate creative concepts into technical realities.
- Debug complex rendering issues and develop innovative solutions for cross-browser compatibility.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in graphics programming and web technologies.
- Contribute to the technical architecture of our internal graphics libraries and tools.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics and visualization.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Deep knowledge of WebGL, Three.js, PixiJS, or similar 2D/3D rendering libraries.
- Experience with shader programming (GLSL) and GPU acceleration techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
