Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the technical vision for our flagship products leading up to and beyond the 2026 horizon, aligning engineering capabilities with long-term business goals.
- Predictive Architecture: Design and implement scalable backend systems capable of processing high-velocity data streams to forecast future trends and user behaviors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and designers to translate complex strategic objectives into actionable technical specifications.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Prototyping & Innovation: Build rapid prototypes to validate new concepts and technologies that will become the standard in 2026.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement advanced engineering methodologies to maximize efficiency and output quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic architecture role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP); experience with machine learning frameworks and predictive modeling.
- Strategic Mindset: Exceptional ability to think long-term and translate high-level business strategies into concrete technical roadmaps.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges and delivering innovative solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
