Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including assessment, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate care with other departments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license with PA residency)
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
