Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols for near-term quantum processors.
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical software architectures to optimize computational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to characterize and calibrate quantum hardware components.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum systems under various environmental conditions.
- Document system architecture and contribute to open-source quantum computing libraries.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical reviews to ensure code quality and system integrity.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and parallel computing concepts.
- Experience with classical algorithms, optimization techniques, and machine learning.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra.
