Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quantum talent acquisition strategies targeting PhD-level researchers, quantum algorithm specialists, and cryogenic engineers
- Leverage AI-powered recruitment platforms to identify passive candidates in quantum computing, condensed matter physics, and quantum materials science
- Design immersive candidate experiences through virtual quantum labs and technical assessment frameworks
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT, Caltech, CERN, and emerging quantum startups for talent pipeline development
- Analyze quantum workforce trends to forecast hiring needs and compensation benchmarks for 2026-2030
- Lead employer branding initiatives positioning Nexus as the quantum industry's talent destination
- Mentor a team of technical sourcers using quantum data analytics and predictive modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years technical recruitment experience with 3+ years in quantum computing, AI, or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum hardware architectures, and quantum error correction principles
- Proven success using AI sourcing tools (SeekOut, HireVue, Eightfold) for specialized technical roles
- Deep understanding of quantum computing talent landscape and key research institutions globally
- Ability to evaluate technical proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strategic mindset with experience scaling technical teams in emerging technology sectors
