Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction protocols
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence in cryogenic environments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware team on superconducting qubit optimization
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST grant funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization tools
- Experience with cryogenic quantum measurement systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Ability to secure government research funding
