Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Develop cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum cloud computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, or LDPC)
- Familiarity with superconducting and photonic qubit architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
