Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop scalable quantum hardware architectures for commercial deployment
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Translate theoretical concepts into patentable quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
