Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams on quantum-ML integration projects
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Secure federal and private research grants for 2026 roadmap initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or NISQ-era optimization
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
- Security clearance eligibility (for government contracts)
