Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm research for practical commercial applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop novel machine learning models leveraging quantum advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical concepts into prototype systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure and manage external research funding from government and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
