Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum processors
- Lead experimental research on quantum supremacy applications in cryptography and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum-compatible software architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private entities
- Contribute to the development of quantum cloud platforms accessible to enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals (e.g., Nature Quantum Information)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to secure and manage research funding ($500K+ preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
