Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI engineers to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage partnerships with leading quantum hardware providers
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
