Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-accelerated ML frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF/DoD proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Publish top-tier research in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in at least one quantum computing platform (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum complexity theory or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Track record of securing federal research funding
