Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in superconducting qubit systems and error correction methodologies
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation hardware architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at premier conferences
- Secure government and industry funding for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and industry partnerships
