Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with next-generation quantum processors
- Secure and manage research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum simulation tools
- Strong background in quantum algorithms, complexity theory, and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures including superconducting qubits and trapped ions
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming paradigms
