Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems
- Lead experiments on our proprietary quantum annealing hardware
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum computing workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure government and industry grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
