Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical AI frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical computing optimization
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects and secure funding
