Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors using superconducting and photonic architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patentable innovations in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry partnerships for quantum technology adoption
- Contribute to roadmaps for quantum advantage in cryptography and drug discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental validation
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong track record of collaborative research in high-pressure environments
