Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and execute experiments on superconducting quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Contribute to ISO quantum security standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published record in quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research funding
