Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in quantum hardware-software integration

- Secure government and industry grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum technology commercialization strategies
- Maintain active partnerships with leading academic institutions and national labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum architectures
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (> $1M)
