Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead 20+ person quantum hardware development team
- Establish strategic partnerships with IBM, Google Quantum, and academic institutions
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D grants from NSF and DARPA
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Pioneer quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing R&D experience with published papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
