Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for commercial applications in logistics, finance, and pharmaceuticals
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 50+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Translate quantum research into patentable IP portfolios
- Coordinate with international quantum networks (EU/Asia)
- Present findings at quantum computing summits (e.g., IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with error correction
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
