Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Manage a team of 5-7 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and academic partners on quantum standards
- Publish 2-3 peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Translate theoretical research into patentable quantum applications
- Present findings at international conferences (Q2C, IEEE Quantum)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design tools
- Publication record in quantum algorithm development
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary research teams
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and entanglement
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
