Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, AI optimization, and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum software solutions
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption roadmaps
- Drive patent development in quantum error correction and qubit stability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier scientific journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Active Q-clearance or equivalent security clearance preferred
