Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for multi-qubit quantum processors
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for specific industry use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Document quantum system architectures and publish technical whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable engineering solutions
