Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction (surface codes, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects with $1M+ budgets
