Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and validation
- File patents for novel quantum hardware innovations and security protocols
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-encrypted space communication systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and topological computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development toolkits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems and microwave engineering
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography post-quantum security standards
