Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud platforms and enterprise systems
- Research error correction codes and quantum memory solutions for practical deployment
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications and interfaces
- Document quantum computing frameworks and create developer toolkits
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and quantum information theory
