Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Author white papers on quantum machine learning breakthroughs
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum gate optimization techniques
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum complexity theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in topological quantum error correction codes
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience securing DoD/NASA quantum security clearances
- Track record of translating theoretical models into functional prototypes
