Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications in cryptography and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype quantum hardware components
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of quantum algorithms
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in cryogenic system integration and superconducting circuits
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QASM)
- Ability to secure US government security clearance (if applicable)
