Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving fault tolerance
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic systems)
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on quantum use-case implementation
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing conferences
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts to executive stakeholders
