Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for specific hardware platforms
- Lead quantum error correction research and fault-tolerance strategies
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical specifications
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum research trends through continuous learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Proficient in Python, C++, and low-level programming
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
