Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures compatible with NISQ-era hardware
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026 security standards
- Lead cross-functional teams across physics, software engineering, and cybersecurity
- Validate quantum systems through rigorous simulation and hardware testing
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Advise government agencies on quantum security policy frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and QIS frameworks
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming tools
- Publication record in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborations
- Expertise in Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
