Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 1000+ qubit capability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Optimize quantum circuit performance for real-world deployment
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Stay current with quantum hardware advancements and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
