Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum networks
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical computing solutions
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Stay current with breakthroughs in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit design
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC systems
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
- Strong understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
