Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 10,000+ logical qubits by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and gate fidelity improvements
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor quantum engineering talent in our Austin R&D center
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 10+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
- Track record of delivering quantum computing patents or open-source frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
