Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing interfaces
- Drive research into quantum supremacy applications for pharmaceuticals, materials science, and AI
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences and industry symposiums
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and algorithm development
- Proven track record in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with experience in high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
