Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies in noisy intermediate-scale systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate 128+ qubit processors
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum algorithm development
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
