Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for near-term quantum processors (NISQ)
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems with cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into real-world business solutions
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Secure patents for novel quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Quantum)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped ion systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
