Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Document quantum system blueprints and performance metrics for stakeholder alignment
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices and optimization techniques
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum standards (NISQ, Fault-Tolerant) and industry roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit design
- Proven track record developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and topological qubit architectures
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
