Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead the integration of quantum algorithms with classical computing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex quantum computing challenges
- Research and implement quantum error correction techniques to enhance system reliability
- Develop quantum software frameworks and optimization tools for enterprise clients
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and contribute to industry standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and guide technical strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum gates, and quantum error correction
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages (Qiskit, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Proven track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and their computational applications
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
