Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum circuit optimization for IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Develop quantum error correction protocols using surface code implementations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate qubit coherence times
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for blockchain applications
- Author research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in Python/C++ quantum programming
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit Aqua, PennyLane)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security standards
