Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms targeting optimization, cryptography, and machine learning challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era quantum processors
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and architectures
- Present research findings at premier quantum computing conferences
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology adoption strategies and ROI projections
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
