Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop error correction protocols achieving fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on superconducting and photonic qubit implementations
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit or photonic systems
