Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for real-world optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms leveraging QML techniques for predictive modeling and pattern recognition
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations on D-Wave and IBM systems
- Lead research initiatives targeting quantum advantage in NLP, materials science, and financial modeling
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum-AI conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum-AI tool development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and classical optimization algorithms
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical AI solutions
